FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is Green UX?

Green UX, or eco-UX, means designing more sober interfaces and journeys: fewer steps, less unnecessary content, lighter pages. It reduces environmental impact while improving the user experience.

How long does the eco-design course last?

1 to 2 days, depending on your needs. Day one covers eco-design principles and technical optimisation; day two covers eco-UX and sober design.

Which tools measure the impact of a website?

Audit tools such as Lighthouse and EcoIndex, applied to real cases, based on the 115 Green IT best practices.

Do I need to know how to code?

No, the course is open to all levels. The technical parts (compression, lazy loading, caching) are for developers; the eco-UX part is for designers and product managers.

Are eco-design and accessibility linked?

Yes. Simple, light interfaces are also more accessible: the course covers digital accessibility and inclusivity.
